My parents, Stephen and Irene, purchased Dansville Grocery 58 years ago. Little did I know at the time, the small community of Dansville would form the foundation building blocks of my life. The friends I made here have lasted a lifetime and still influence my actions, even after all these years. The DHS graduates of 1967 are pictured in our 25th high school reunion and our 50th reunion. We have aged a little in appearance but still retain youthfulness in mind. It may take more of us to recite memories from our high school glory years, but by using teamwork we manage to remember our past.
I wrote a book, which details my years in Dansville and my subsequent life
running a start-up business. In my humble opinion, “If Our Dog Won’t Eat It, We Won’t Sell It!" is funny, informative, and confirms working for yourself is the way to travel through life. Take a peek and see what you think. I’m living proof that Dansville is the best school!
